Data Processing Software

There are lots of different data sources in scientific and technical applications, e.g. time series, spectra or images. On this page you'll find software of different programming paradigms which lets you process your data efficiently.

Text based Programming

Perl DL

The Perl Data Language is a module for the well known programming language Perl which lets you process your N dimensional data fast and efficiently.

Blitz++

C++ toolkit for numerical problems.

DSLib

DSLib is a C++ library for real-time dynamic systems simulation with Linux. DSLib's classes implement loops, blocks, inputs, outputs, etc. By creating instances and setting their properties, you can easily define the block diagram of your system. Once you have done this, it automatically generates the C code of the kernel module that implements the system in real-time. So far it only generates code for RTLinux, but a RTAI version is on the way.

Graphical Data Processing Tools

Samplin

A program to controll a mass spectrometer. Includes it's own object oriented programming language.

SciGraphica

Program for visualisation of data, similar to Microcal Origin.

Overflow

A program for graphical development of dataflow oriented programs (similar to LabVIEW).
